Farmbot-16-genesis

Founded in 2014, FarmBot Inc. specializes in developing and manufacturing gardening robots. The FarmBot Genesis can plant over 30 different crops, mechanically remove weeds, irrigate, capture images, and measure soil parameters. It continuously documents plant growth and transmits data to computer or mobile applications. The robot requires electricity, internet access, and water supply, though it can operate on solar panels and batteries. The frame uses aluminium extrusions with V-Slot® wheels, powered by NEMA 17 stepper motors. An Arduino MEGA serves as the main board, with a Raspberry Pi as the control unit. Plastic components can be 3D printed as needed. The machine can be operated through smartphone, tablet, or computer applications. This unit is currently being tested for growing various garden crops.
