Pasteurization is a heat treatment process that eliminates harmful microorganisms in beverages and foods while extending shelf life. The PPP series continuous-flow beer pasteurizer with control and regulation equipment was originally manufactured by Chotěbořské strojírny, and from 1992 by TENEZ, a.s. This unit operated at the Opava brewery Zlatovar from April 1994. When the brewery closed in 2005, the pasteurizer was decommissioned. The brewery building was demolished in 2010, and a shopping centre now stands on the site.
