Step by step towards progress: Instructional Guidelines
During the post-war period, the Ministry of Agriculture produced a wide range of didactic posters combining detailed written instructions with clear illustrations. These materials served two purposes: they provided practical guidance on modernising agricultural production and simultaneously promoted desired economic and social attitudes. They were designed to make it easier to introduce new technologies and methods into everyday practice and were intended to be understandable to a broad audience of users. The state used these instructions to monitor whether new procedures were being implemented in accordance with the central plan, under the guise of professional assistance.
