Andrea Steckerová is a curator of the National Gallery in Prague.


Andrea Steckerová is a graduate in Art History from Palacký University Olomouc.

She focuses on 17th- and 18th-century Czech and Dutch painting, with a long-term research interest in the work of the Baroque painter Petr Brandl.

Currently, she works as a curator for the Collection of Old Masters at the National Gallery Prague, managing the collections of Czech Baroque art (both paintings and sculptures) and 17th- and 18th-century Dutch painting.

Dr. Steckerová has also received several prestigious international scholarships—such as the Clark/Mellon Curatorial Fellowship—and research grants.
