Museum of Farming Machinery
The Museum of Farming Machinery at Čáslav is a branch of the NMA Prague specialized on the study and presentation of both historical and present machinery used in agriculture. The large objects of the former military car park host the depositories and exhibitions focused, in particular, on the mechanization of plant production, energy resources in agriculture, and transport. The unique collection of tractors and historical ploughs is one of most significant and large collections alike in Europe.
The Museum of farming machinery can offer to its visitors a programme for several hours, and the visit to the Museum may also be combined with the visits to a number of memorable sites in the neighbourhood. Directly in Čáslav is one of the very old municipal museums in Bohemia, near is the NMA Kačina – Museum of Czech Countryside, the town of Kutná Hora with its monuments, the neo-gothic chateau of Žleby, as well as the breeding forest with white deer at Žehušice.

A new modern exhibition on the development and types of energy resources in agriculture.The exhibition will be open in 2011.
Accessible depositories
Stationary engines
In the depository of stationary engines, the visitors can see a lot of exhibits manufactures by a number of producers worldwide. Here the visitors will admire the variety of designs, technological processing as well as successful aesthetic realization of the work done by our ancestors.
Grain threshers
The depository presents the system of machines for grain threshing, which later influenced even the emergence of combines. It reflects the development in threshing from hand-operated and mechanical flails to simple threshers and towards the more sophisticated filtering and clearing threshing machines.
